after lunch, bao signalled me to explore the compound behind hong an pagoda (while oanh dozed away for her afternoon nap). the vicinity is beautiful with trees and flowers of different colours and varieties. we din converse much, as bao knows no english and i knows no vietnamese. we had a nice walk together nevertheless.
