this trip took place in january 07 with much kindness from p.oay whom i met during the plum village trip in vietnam. i learnt about venerable tenzin palmo's trip in thailand from her and decided to go there to receive some teachings.

the first few days were spent in bangkok, following a short retreat in ashram vongsanit. p.oay then took me to phu long where her favourite haunt, wat mahawan, is located. the last few days were spent in ashram mata, a sanctuary for females.
